(c) The Board shall enforce the provisions of this section.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Horse Racing - Intrastate Simulcasting

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Maryland Racing Commission to
issue to a certain racetracks harness racetrack an
intrastate simulcast license that permits intertrack
wagering during certain periods of time and under certain
terms and conditions, on races conducted at' certain
thoroughbred racetracks; defining certain terms; providing
for the conditions under which the Commission may approve an
application for a license and pari-mutuel wagering may take
place on the simulcast races; authorizing the Commission to
make a certain determination; providing for the appeal of
the determination of the Commission; providing for the
allocation of the intertrack wagering mutuel pools;
requiring the Commission to make a certain report each year
to the General Assembly; requiring certain fiscal committees
to jointly study certain issues and make a certain report to
the General Assembly by a certain date; and generally
relating to intrastate simulcasting of horse races.
