notification of fire fighters, emergency technicians, and
rescue squadmen exposed to AIDS.
FOR the purpose of redefining a certain term to require attending
physicians to notify certain fire fighters, emergency
medical technicians, and rescue squadmen of their exposure
to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV); requiring the
attending physician or designee of a medical care facility
to notify certain law enforcement officers and certain other
persons of the law enforcement officer's possible exposure
to certain contagious diseases or viruses under certain
circumstances; providing certain immunity for medical care
facilities and physicians under certain circumstances;
defining a certain term; making clarifying changes; making
technical changes; making this Act an emergency measure; and
generally relating to notification of fire fighters,
emergency medical technicians, rescue squadmen, and law
enforcement officers exposed to certain diseases or viruses.

MEANINGS INDICATED.
(a) In this section "contagious disease" means:

(1) (II) Hepatitis B;
(2) (III) Meningococcal Meningitis;
(3) (IV) Tuberculosis;
(4) (V) Malaria;
