(ii) 2. $150 for a bus with a seating capacity
of 21 to 35; or
(iii) 3. $250 for a bus with a seating capacity
of 36 or more.
(c) The refund provided in this section shall be applicable
for the registration of the vehicle described under
subsection (a) of this section during fiscal year 1989 only.
SECTION 5 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if any
provision of this Act or the application thereof to any person or
circumstance is held invalid for any reason in a court of
competent jurisdiction, the invalidity does not affect other
provisions or any other application of this Act which can be
given effect without the invalid provision or application, and
for this purpose the provisions of this Act are declared
severable.
SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections 1, 3,
4, and 5 of this Act are emergency measures; are necessary for

of the General Assembly that if H.B. 504 (Chapter ___) of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1988 is enacted to the extent
that the provisions of this Act are in conflict with the
provisions of H.B. 504 (Chapter ___) of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1988, the provisions of this Act shall control.
SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an
emergency measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public health and safety, have has been passed by a yea and
nay vote supported by three-fifths of all of the members elected
to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take
effect from the date they are it is enacted.
SECTION 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of
this Act shall take effect January 1, 1989 July 1, 1988.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of this
Act shall take effect June 1, 1988.
