(e) (d) The Joint Committee shall report its final findings
and recommendations to the Legislative Policy Committee on or
before January 1, 1990.

(f) Staff for the Joint Committee shall be provided by the
Department of Legislative Reference.

SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Worcester County - Alcoholic Beverages Licenses

FOR the purpose of altering the total number of alcoholic
beverages licenses that may be issued in Worcester County to
one person under certain circumstances.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

(j) (1) Notwithstanding any other provisions of this
section in Worcester County, the holder of a Class B, (on-sale -
hotels and restaurants) beer, wine and liquor license or Class B,
(on-sale - hotels and restaurants) beer and light wine license
under this article, by making application in the regular manner
and paying the usual fee may obtain additional Class B, (on-sale
hotels and restaurants) beer, wine and liquor or Class B,
(on-sale - hotels and restaurants) beer and light wine licenses
for premises used and occupied as a bona fide restaurant, as may
be defined by the rules and regulations of the board of liquor
