be such as may be assigned to him by the treasurer. The
treasurer and his successor in office shall execute to the State
of Maryland a corporate surety bond in such penal sum as the
[state] STATE comptroller may prescribe, with the condition that
if the above bound treasurer shall well and faithfully execute
his office and shall account for to the comptroller and pay to
the treasurer of the [state] STATE the several sums of money
which he shall receive for the [state] STATE, or be answerable
for by law, at such times as the law shall direct, then the said
obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and
effect, and shall execute a bond to Cecil County in the penalty
of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars, conditioned for the
proper collection and disbursement of all moneys coming into his
hands for the county and the faithful performance of other duties
devolving upon him; said bonds to be approved, as the bonds of
the sheriff of the respective counties of this [state] STATE are
approved, and recorded in the office of the clerk of the circuit
court for Cecil County and after recording, the bonds to the
[state] STATE shall be filed with the [state] STATE comptroller;
and the said treasurer before he shall enter upon the duties of
his said office shall take and subscribe before said clerk the
oath prescribed by section 6 of article 1 of the Constitution of
the State ARTICLE I, § 9 OF THE MARYLAND CONSTITUTION.

(b) Before entering upon the duties of his office, the
deputy treasurer shall execute to the Treasurer of Cecil County a
corporate surety bond in the penalty of one hundred and fifty
thousand dollars, conditioned for. the proper collection and
accounting of all moneys coming into his hands for the county or
[state] STATE and the faithful performance of other duties
devolving upon him, the said bond to be approved, as the bond of
the sheriff of Cecil County is approved, and recorded in the
office of the clerk of the circuit court for Cecil County, and he
shall take and subscribe before the said clerk the oath
prescribed by section 6 of article 1 of the Constitution of the
State ARTICLE, I, § 9 OF THE MARYLAND CONSTITUTION.

(c) The deputy treasurer shall receive such annual salary
as shall be prescribed by the BOARD OF county commissioners, but
not less than two thousand seven hundred dollars, to be paid once
every 2 weeks.

(d) (1) The treasurer shall be allowed his traveling and
other expenses made necessary in the performance of his duties
which shall be paid by the BOARD OF county commissioners.

(2)  Each voucher for reimbursement of expenses shall
include the information required by the [state standard travel
regulations]. STATE STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS.

(3)  Approved mileage expenses shall be reimbursed at
the rate and in the manner authorized under the [state standard
travel regulations] STATE STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS.
