particular area, the exact wording shall be specified which is to
be placed on the ballots or voting machines at the time of the
referendum.

The petition when so filed shall then become the. property of
the board of county commissioners or the county council, and
shall not thereafter be used for the purposes of initiating
further referenda thereon.

[No municipal corporation shall be created under the
provisions of this subtitle without the specific approval of the
board of county commissioners or of the county council of the
county in which the proposed municipal corporation is located.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Fires - Chimneys - Reports

FOR the purpose of requiring that the State Fire Marshal or the
local authority having jurisdictions over fire
investigations file with the State Fire Marshal's office a
report that identifies the type of chimney involved in a
fire if a chimney is determined to have contributed to the
cause of the fire; and requiring the State Fire Marshal to
establish and maintain a repository of certain reports.
