Ch. 154

LAWS OF MARYLAND

(c) Before the license expires, the licensee periodically
may renew it for an additional term, if the licensee:

(1)  Otherwise is entitled to be licensed;

(2)  Pays to the Board a renewal fee equivalent to an
annual fee of $45; and

(3)  Submits to the Board:

(i) A renewal application on the form that the
Board requires; [and]

(ii) Satisfactory evidence of compliance with
any continuing education requirements set under this section for
license renewal; AND.

(III) SATISFACTORY EVIDENCE THAT THE LICENSEE
HAS COMPLETED THE PANEL DATA SHEET MAILED UNDER SUBSECTION (B)(2)
OF THIS SECTION AND FILED IT WITH THE HEALTH CLAIMS ARBITRATION
OFFICE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

(Senate Bill 754)

AN ACT concerning

Health Occupations - Dietitians and Nutritionists -
Licensing - Experience

FOR the purpose of altering the clinical experience requirements
for the licensing of nutritionists; extending a termination
date for the waiver of certain examination and experience
requirements for the licensure of certain nutritionists and
dietitians; making certain stylistic changes; providing for
the termination of this Act; generally relating to the
licensure of dietitians and nutritionists; and making this
Act an emergency measure.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
