(iii) The use of a dental assistant by a
licensed dentist in performing intraoral procedures;

(IV)  THE ISSUANCE OF A PERMIT TO A FACILITY
WHERE A LICENSED DENTIST ADMINISTERS OR HAS ANESTHESIA
ADMINISTERED; AND

(V)  THE ISSUANCE OF A PERMIT TO A FACILITY
WHERE A LICENSED DENTIST ADMINISTERS OR HAS PARENTERAL SEDATION
ADMINISTERED;

(2)  After consulting with the State Board of
Pharmacy, adopt [rules and] regulations regarding the dispensing
of prescription drugs by a licensed dentist; and

(3)  On receipt of a written and signed complaint,
investigate an alleged violation of this title.

4-305.

(F) (1) AN APPLICANT WHO FAILS AN EXAMINATION TWICE SHALL
COMPLETE 40 HOURS OF ADDITIONAL TRAINING IN AN ACCREDITED SCHOOL
OF DENTISTRY OR DENTAL HYGIENE, AS APPROPRIATE, BEFORE THE
APPLICANT MAY RETAKE THE EXAMINATION.

(2)  AN APPLICANT WHO FAILS AN EXAMINATION 3 TIMES
SHALL RETAKE AND SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THE SENIOR YEAR OF
TRAINING AT AN ACCREDITED SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY OR DENTAL HYGIENE,
AS APPROPRIATE, BEFORE THE APPLICANT MAY RETAKE THE EXAMINATION.

(3)  AN APPLICANT WHO FAILS AN EXAMINATION 4 TIMES MAY
NOT BE REEXAMINED.

[4-306.

(a)  Subject to the provisions of this section, the Board
may waive any examination requirement of this title for:

(1)  An applicant for a general license to practice
dentistry; or

(2)  An applicant for a general license to practice
dental hygiene.

(b)  The Board may grant a waiver of the examination
requirement for a general license to practice dentistry under
this section only if the applicant:

(1)  Pays the application fee required by § 4-304 of
this subtitle; and

(2)  Provides adequate evidence that the applicant:
