(7) OTHER SERVICES THAT ENHANCE SOCIAL FUNCTIONING
AND DEVELOP ACTIVITIES IN DAILY LIVING AND PERSONAL INDEPENDENCE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

(Senate Bill 131)
AN ACT concerning
Dentists and Dental Hygienists
FOR the purpose of authorizing the State Board of Dental
Examiners to adopt regulations governing the issuance of
certain permits; requiring an applicant for a license to
practice dentistry or dental hygiene who has failed the
examination to meet certain conditions before retaking the
examination; establishing a certain limit on the number of
times an applicant may retake the examination; providing
that certain dentists and dental hygienists licensed in
another state shall be granted a license in this State
subject to certain conditions; authorizing the Board to
adopt certain regulations to provide for the licensure of
certain individuals; providing certain conditions for
applicants of a general license to practice dentistry and
dental hygiene; authorizing the Board to issue subpoenas and
administer oaths to witnesses under certain circumstances;
authorizing a court of competent jurisdiction to compel
compliance with the subpoena under certain conditions;
requiring the clerk of certain courts to make certain
reports to the Board; and generally relating to dentist and
dental hygienist licensure.
