WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor

Ch. 109

providing that the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene
may employ certain staff for the Board; requiring the
Attorney General to assign a sufficient number of assistant
attorneys general to provide adequate assistance to the
Board; requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene
to assign a sufficient number of investigators and hearing
officers to provide adequate assistance to the Board;
establishing certain time limitations for the disposition of
certain complaints; requiring the Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene to submit a certain annual report to the
Legislative Policy Committee; providing for the application
and construction of this Act; specifying that certain
regulations, standards, and guidelines continue in effect
under the Board; making certain technical changes; and
generally relating to the system for medical discipline.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 14-101, 14-201 through 14-205, 14-206, 14-302,
14-303(b), 14-303.1(b), 14-303.2(c) and (d),
14-304(a) and (d), 14-318(e), 14-501 through 14-512,
14-601(g), and 14-603(a), 14-705.1(a), 14.5-101,
14.5-205(b), 14.5-301(d), 14.5-312, and 14.5-313
