Ch. 100

LAWS OF MARYLAND

State streets, or] HIGHWAYS, STREETS, roads, or MASS TRANSIT
FACILITIES, INCLUDING BUSWAYS AND LIGHT RAIL FACILITIES, that are
shown on adopted and approved master plans and are included in
the Maryland twenty-year highway needs study.

(3) All land acquisitions shall be subject to passage
of an ordinance by the County Council.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

CHAPTER 100

(House Bill 981)

AN ACT concerning

Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission -

Reservation of Land
PG/MC 31-88

FOR the purpose of clarifying that the Maryland-National Capital
Park and Planning Commission or the governing body of
Montgomery County or Prince George's County may prepare
certain regulations governing the reservation of certain
land for certain traffic and mass transit facilities.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 28 - Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning

Commission
Section 7-116(a)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1986 Replacement Volume and 1987 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 28 - Maryland-National Capital Park and
Planning Commission

7-116.

(a) In exercising the powers granted to it by § 7-115 of
this article, the Commission or the governing body of either
county may prepare regulations and amendments governing the
