15-209. FULL-TIME DUTIES; COMPENSATION; STAFF.

(A)  FULL-TIME DUTIES.

EACH MEMBER OF THE APPEALS BOARD SHALL DEVOTE FULL TIME TO
THE DUTIES OF OFFICE.

(B)  COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES.
EACH MEMBER OF THE APPEALS BOARD IS ENTITLED TO:

(1)  COMPENSATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE BUDGET;
AND

(2)  REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES UNDER THE STANDARD
STATE TRAVEL REGULATIONS, AS PROVIDED IN THE STATE BUDGET.

(C)  STAFF.

THE APPEALS BOARD MAY EMPLOY A STAFF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
STATE BUDGET.

15-210. REGULATIONS.

IN ACCORDANCE WITH TITLE 10, SUBTITLE 1 OF THE STATE
GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, THE APPEALS BOARD SHALL ADOPT REGULATIONS
THAT PROVIDE FOR INFORMAL, EXPEDITIOUS, AND INEXPENSIVE
RESOLUTION OF APPEALS BEFORE THE APPEALS BOARD.

without substantive change from former SF §
ll-138(c)(2)(ii).

The former reference to adopting regulations "that are
not inconsistent with" Title 10, Subtitle 1 of the
State Government Article is deleted as surplusage.
