AN ACT concerning

Charles County - Charles County Heritage
Commission - Members' Terms

FOR the purpose of altering the length of terms for members of
the Charles County Heritage Commission; clarifying language;
and generally relating to the Charles County Heritage
Commission.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of Charles County

Section 21-1, 21-2, and 21-3

Article 9 - Public Local Laws of Maryland

(1969 Edition and 1977 Supplement, as added

by Chapter 304 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1982)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 9 - Charles County

21-1.

[(a) In general in this subtitle the following words have
the meaning indicated:]

[(b)] IN THIS SUBTITLE, "Curator" means a person appointed
to manage, procure, preserve, and disseminate materials relating
to the local history of Charles County.

21-2.

(A)  There is a Charles County Heritage Commission.

(B)  The purpose of the Commission is to manage, procure,
preserve, and disseminate materials relating to the local history
of Charles County.
