An order issued by any District Court of the United States
enjoining a risk retention group from soliciting or selling
insurance or operating in any state, in all states, or in any
territory or possession of the United States, upon a finding that
such a group is in a hazardous financial condition, OR IS
FINANCIALLY IMPAIRED, shall be enforceable in the courts of this
State.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Alcoholic Beverages - Beer and Light Wine - Corrective Bill

FOR the purpose of amending or repealing certain obsolete
provisions of law relating to the sale of light beer and
wine statewide and in Allegany County, Baltimore County,
Dorchester County, Garrett County, Kent County, Wicomico
County, and Worcester County beer and light wine to certain
minors and relating to loitering by certain underage persons
outside the establishments of alcoholic beverages licensees
in those counties.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

126A(a), 130(a) and (b) 130(b), and 158(f)(2)

Preamble

WHEREAS, Ch. 850 of the Acts of 1974 authorized the purchase
and consumption of beer and light wine by consumers 18 to 21
years of age; and

WHEREAS, The prohibitions against purchase and consumption
were reimposed against 18 to 21 year old consumers by Chapters 90
and 96 of the Acts of 1982; and
