(f)   [One dollar ($1.00)] $1 for temporary license.

(g)  To renew a certificate, a manicurist:

(1)  Need only pay the renewal fee under subsection
(b) of this section; and

(2)  Is not required to pay the beauty shop owner fee
under subsection (a) of this section when practicing his or her
profession in a licensed barbershop.

(h) [Five dollars ($5.00)] $5 for students, valid for 5
years from the year of issuance.

The above fees for registration, examination and
certification shall be paid in advance to the secretary of the
Board.

(a) Upon payment of [$20] $100, the Board shall register
each applicant who satisfactorily passes the examination and
shall issue to the applicant a certificate of registration.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if Chapter_____

of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1988 (S.B. 201) is enacted
by the General Assembly, the publishers of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, the Michie Company, in consultation with the Director
of the Department of Legislative Reference, shall take the steps
necessary to incorporate the relevant provisions of this Act into

the structure of Chapter______of the Acts of the General Assembly

of 1988 (S.B. 201) .

SECTION 2 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1988.
