Board Composition

FOR the purpose of making the president of the Association of
Maryland Pilots a permanent member of the State Board of
Examiners of Maryland Pilots.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 74 - Pilots

1.

(a) There is a Board of Examiners of Maryland Pilots. The
Board shall be part of the Department of Licensing and
Regulation. It shall consist of 9 members, including:

(1)  The Secretary of Licensing and Regulation or a
designee of the Secretary; [and]

(2)  THE PRESIDENT OF THE ASSOCIATION OF MARYLAND
PILOTS; AND

with the advice of the Secretary of Licensing and Regulation, of
