(I) IS AT LEAST 17 YEARS OF AGE;

(II) HAS AN EIGHTH GRADE EDUCATION, OR ITS
EQUIVALENT; AND

(III) HAS WORK EXPERIENCE OF AT LEAST 6 MONTHS
AS A LICENSED COSMETOLOGIST IN THE OTHER STATE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Professional Land Surveyors and Property Line
Surveyors - Application Fees

FOR the purpose of altering the application fee for persons
applying to become a licensed professional land surveyor;
altering the application fee for persons applying to become
a licensed property line surveyor, and generally relating to
the licensure of land surveyors.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 56 - Licenses

336.

(a)  The registration fee for professional land surveyors is
[$50] $135, of which [$20] $105 shall accompany the application,
and $30 shall be paid on issuance of the certificate.

(b)  (1) Before July 1, 1990, the registration fee for a
property line surveyor is [$35] $100, of which [$15] $80 shall
