SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 1 - FISCAL YEAR 1989

February 1, 1988

Mr. President, Mr. Speaker, Ladies

and Gentlemen of the General Assembly:

Pursuant to the authority conferred on me by Article III,
Section 52, Subsection (5) of the Constitution of Maryland, and
in accordance with the consent of the (State Senate) - (House of
Delegates), duly granted, I hereby submit a supplement to Senate
Bill 270 and/or House Bill 375 in the form of an amendment to the
original budget for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1989.

The Supplemental Budget No. 1 will not affect the previously
estimated funds available for budget operations.

To be transferred immediately upon
passage of this budget to provide
fiscal year 1988 appropriation to
establish the new Office for
Human Development (23.01.05.10).
