30, 1988. If the positions are
vacated prior to June 30, 1988,
the remaining balance of the
funds may not be expended for any
other purpose and shall revert to

To become available immediately

upon passage of this budget to
supplement the appropriation for
fiscal year 1988 to provide funds
to the Board of Public Works.
These funds are to be used by the
Board in its judgment (1) for
supplementing appropriations made
in the budget for fiscal year

1988 when the regular

appropriations are insufficient
for the operating expenses of the
government beyond those that were
contemplated at the time of the
appropriation of the budget for
this fiscal year or (2) for any
other contingencies that might
arise within the State or other
governmental agencies during the
fiscal year or any other
