LAWS OF MARYLAND

$4,700,000 of the authorized
General Fund appropriation may be
transferred to the State
Department of Education and the
Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene to implement employee and
teacher salary adjustments at the
Maryland School for the Blind,
local health departments and
other community programs
receiving financial support from
the Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene.
From Special and Federal Funds, for
payments required as a result of
salary adjustments and increases
and for increased costs for
Social Security and Retirement
contributions                       resulting

therefrom, authorization is
hereby granted to use Special and
Federal Funds for this purpose,
to be payable out of revenues and
grants which are the source of
funds for the payment of budget
appropriations payable out of
Special and Federal Funds.
