Any excess remaining on June 30,
1989 shall revert to the general
fund.
Further provided that funds
appropriated in subobject B04 for
service of process may be
expended for that purpose only
and may not be transferred to any
other purpose by budget amendment
or otherwise. It is the intent
of the General Assembly that the
district court pay sheriff's fees
for service of process only
through December 31, 1988 and
that payment for service of
process shall be made directly to
sheriffs as of January 1, 1989.
The district court may assist
sheriffs in preparing to directly
receive payment for service of

It is the intent of the General
Assembly that renovation in
State leased judicial facilities
be financed not through
amortization, but on a
pay as you go basis.

22.01.00.06 Administrative Office of
the Courts
General Fund Appropriation,
provided that this appropriation
shall be increased by $100,000 to
provide for State support of the
Citizenship/Law-Related Education
Program for the Maryland schools.
The appropriation increase is to
be allocated to 82% of the
salaries and fringe benefits of
three salaried positions in the
Citizenship/Law-Related Education
Program: the Director, the
Associate Director and the
