22.01.00.03 Circuit Courts
General Fund Appropriation,
provided that $195,648 of this
appropriation for employment of
retired judges in the pre-trial
settlement program and other
judicial matters may be expended
for that purpose only and may not
be transferred to any other
purpose by budget amendment or
otherwise. The Judiciary shall
provide reports on the
effectiveness of retired judges
in the pre-trial settlement
program to the General Assembly
on a continuing basis. Any excess
remaining on June 30, 1989 shall
revert to the general fund.......
It is the intent of the budget
committees that positions of
Trust Clerk, PIN #000398 and
Deputy Trust Clerk, PIN #000389,
should be transferred from the
budget of the Judiciary to the
budget of the Circuit Court for
Baltimore City, 24.06.00.01. The
positions and funds may be
transferred by approved budget
amendment. It is the intent that
the transfer should be completed
as early in the fiscal year as
feasible.
22.01.00.04 District Court
General Fund Appropriation,
provided that $150,000 of this
appropriation made for the
purpose of employment of retired
judges may be expended for that
purpose only and may not be
transferred to any other purpose
by budget amendment or otherwise.
