DRAFTER'S NOTE:

This corrects the misplacement of this section under
Title 4, Subtitle 11. Citizens' Advisory Committees
and moves it to Subtitle 1. Department of Public
Safety and Correctional Services.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 6-101
through 6-121, respectively, and the subtitle "Subtitle
1. Maryland Food Authority" of Article 41A - Department of
Economic and Employment Development of the Annotated Code of
Maryland be transferred to be Section(s) 13-101 through 13-121,
respectively, to be under the amended subtitle "Subtitle
1. Maryland Food Center Authority" of Article 41 - Governor
Executive and Administrative Departments of the Annotated Code of
Maryland.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Ch. 311 of the Acts of 1987 incorrectly transferred
the Maryland Food Center Authority, a public
corporation and an independent instrumentality of the
State, into the Department of Economic and Employment

Development. This returns the Authority to its

original placement in Article 41.

SECTION 6. 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
12-501(c) and (d), respectively, of Article - Financial
Institutions of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to
be Section(s) 12-501(d) and (c), respectively.

sequence in § 12-501(c) and (d) of the Financial
Institutions Article.

SECTION 7. 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Articles
41A - Department of Economic and Employment Development, 41B
Department of Housing and Community Development, and 41C -
Juvenile Services, respectively, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland be transferred and renumbered to be Articles 83A -
Department of Economic and Employment Development, 83B
Department of Housing and Community Development, and 83C -
Juvenile Services, respectively, and that, pursuant to the plan
of renumbering that is proposed by this Act, the publishers of
