SECTION 2. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Family Law

5-706.

(e) The local department, the appropriate law enforcement
agencies, [and] the State's Attorney within each county and
Baltimore [City] CITY, AND THE LOCAL HEALTH OFFICER shall enter
into a written agreement that specifies standard operating
procedures for the investigation and prosecution of reported
cases of suspected abuse.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Error: Omission of provision of law in codification.

Occurred: In the concurrent codifications of Chapters
635 and 644, Acts of 1987.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections(s)
88(b) of Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages of the Annotated Code
of Maryland as enacted by Chapters 481 and 837 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1977 be repealed.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Although Ch. 481 and Ch. 837, Acts of 1977,
effectively nullified the provisions of Article 2B,
Section 88(b) by eliminating both subject counties,
this repeal clarifies legislative history.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 47 of
Article 10 - Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact of the
Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) 13.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

This corrects the inappropriate placement of this
section under "Attorney's Liens" and moves it to be
under "Misconduct of Attorneys - Negligence
Disbarment - Suspension".

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
4-1104 of Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative
Departments of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be
