Chapter 306 of the Acts of 1987

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That all persons who
are, as of July 1, 1987, classified employees of the Department
of Natural Resources and the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene and whose positions are transferred to the Department of
the Environment by this Act are hereby transferred to the
Department of the Environment, effective July 1, 1987, without
any change or loss of rights or status, and shall retain their
merit system and retirement system status, except as otherwise
specifically provided in this Act.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

This completes the language in Ch. 306, Acts of 1987
and clarifies the intent of the General Assembly.

Chapter 311 of the Acts of 1987

SECTION 13. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, the provisions
of this Act creating the Maryland Small Business Extension
Service Center Program, and any regulations adopted under the
Maryland Small Business Extension Service CENTER Program shall be
void and of no effect after July 1, 1990.

This corrects the omission of a word in Ch. 311, Acts
of 1987.

Chapter 360 of the Acts of 1987

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:

(3) The cash proceeds of the sale of the bonds shall
be paid to the Treasurer and first shall be applied to the
payment of the expenses of issuing, selling, and delivering the
bonds, unless funds for this purpose are otherwise provided, and
then shall be credited on the books of the Comptroller and
expended, on approval by the Board of Public Works, for the
following public purposes, including any applicable architects'
and engineers' fees: to be added to the Day Care Facilities Loan
Guarantee Fund established by [Article 41, § 13-301] ARTICLE 41A,
§ 6-201 of the Code to be used by the Department of Economic and
[Community] EMPLOYMENT Development for the purposes prescribed by
