[(c)] (D) On receipt of the warrant of the State
Comptroller, the State Treasurer immediately shall pay the amount
due to Baltimore City and the treasurer of each county board.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

[(b) Any motor carrier licensed as a diesel fuel user may
request permission from the Comptroller to file a combined report
of its operation.]

(B) UPON REQUEST, THE COMPTROLLER MAY GRANT PERMISSION TO
FILE A COMBINED REPORT TO ANY MOTOR CARRIER WHICH HOLDS A VALID
