AN ACT concerning

Anne Arundel County - Gaming Restrictions

FOR the purpose of providing certain gaming restrictions in Anne
Arundel County; providing that these restrictions concern
the operation of gaming devices at carnivals, bazaars,
raffles, and other organized gaming events that are held in
the County; requiring certain information to be submitted
to the Anne Arundel County Department of Inspections and
Permits for each gaming event; providing that this Act does
not restrict certain gaming authority of the County and does
not amend or apply to certain existing law concerning
raffles in the County; defining a certain term; making this
Act an emergency measure; and generally relating to gaming
restrictions in Anne Arundel County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(G) (l) IN THIS SUBSECTION "BONA FIDE MEMBER" MEANS AN
INDIVIDUAL WHO OBTAINED A MEMBERSHIP IN AN ORGANIZATION IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHARTER AND BYLAWS OF THE ORGANIZATION AND
HAS BEEN A MEMBER FOR AT LEAST 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO THE
GAMING EVENT.

(2) (I) THIS SUBSECTION APPLIES ONLY IN ANNE ARUNDEL
COUNTY.
