The stylistic error occurred in Ch. 739 of the Acts of
1957.

The stylistic error was noted by the Michie Company.

2-12.

(a) The boards, whenever they deem it to be expedient for
the convenience of the voters, may:

(1)  Subdivide into precincts any election district in
their respective counties or ward in Baltimore City, as the case
may be;

(2)  Subdivide any election precinct in the counties
of Baltimore City, as the case may be;

(3)  Change the boundaries of any election precinct in
the counties or Baltimore City, as the case may be;

(4)  Designate new polling places in any such election
district, ward, or precinct as they may deem necessary, or change
the location of an existing polling place; OR

(5)  Combine or abolish precincts as may be necessary.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects the omission of a conjunction
in Article 33, § 2-12(a).

     The disjunctive conjunction, "or", was omitted from a

list of powers of the boards of elections in Ch. 392
of the Acts of 1967.

The omission of the conjunction was noted by the
Michie Company.

3-1.

(b) Any board may provide supplemental registration in

precincts designated by them in addition to the continuous

registration as provided in subsection (a) [above] OF THIS

SECTION. Public notice of such supplemental registration shall

be given as provided in § 3-2 [below] OF THIS ARTICLE.

   DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects stylistic errors in an
internal reference and in a cross-reference in Article
33, § 3-1(b).

The stylistic errors occurred in Ch. 392 of the Acts
of 1967.
