(1)  KEEP PROPER RECORDS OF ITS FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS;

(2)  MAKE AN ANNUAL REPORT ON ITS CONDITION AND
OPERATIONS TO THE GOVERNOR, THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN ACCORDANCE
WITH § 2-1312 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, AND THE CHAIRMAN
OF THE JOINT BUDGET AND AUDIT COMMITTEE; AND

(3)  BE AUDITED ANNUALLY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Driver's License Number

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Motor Vehicle Administration
to use a driver's social security number as an identifying
number for the driver's license under certain circumstances.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

16-111.

(b) (1) Each license issued by the Administration shall be
identified clearly as to its specific class. A Class E license
may be issued in combination with any one of the other classes.

(2) The Administration shall assign an identifying
number to each license it issues.
