(1)  Vehicles owned or operated by a gas, electric,
telegraph, telephone, or water company, as defined in Article 78
of the Code;

(2)  Vehicles registered as farm trucks under § 13-921
of this article or as farm truck tractors under § 13-924 of this
article;

(3)  School vehicles registered under § 13-932 of this
article;

(4)  Trucks registered at [3/4 ton] 10,000 POUNDS
capacity or less;

(5)  Emergency vehicles; [or]

(6)  Vehicles used primarily to transport money or
commercial paper; OR

(7)  VEHICLES OPERATING WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE
OF PURCHASE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Travel Trailers and Motor Homes -
Length Limitations

FOR the purpose of altering the definition of the term "travel
trailer" to include a fifth wheel travel trailer up to a
certain length; altering the maximum permissible length of
certain vehicles; defining a certain term; and generally
relating to the maximum permissible length of certain
vehicles.
