Abandoned Vehicles - Public University and College Police Forces

FOR the purpose of including public university and college police
forces as those police departments authorized to dispose of
abandoned vehicles.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Transportation

25-201.

(d) "Police department" means:

(1)  The Maryland State Police;

(2)  The police department of any political
subdivision of this State; [and]

(3)  In Baltimore City, the appropriate agency
designated by the Board of Estimates[.]; AND
