BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS - CAPITAL APPROPRIATION
23.05.02.01 Capital Appropriation
General Fund Appropriation,
provided that this appropriation
is contingent on the enactment of
S.B. 227 or H.B. 266 establishing
a tax amnesty program and may be
expended only to the extent that
revenues received pursuant to
this legislation are sufficient
to fund this appropriation. To
the extent that revenues are not
sufficient to fund this
appropriation, the Board of
Public Works shall determine
which projects shall be funded.
Further, provided that the $10
million herein appropriated for
the Ocean City Beach
Replenishment project may not be
expended for purchase of any
interest in property nor until
substantially all easements
necessary to complete both phases
of this project have been
obtained. It is the intent of the
General Assembly that this
restriction not limit the options
available to Ocean City and
Worcester County for obtaining
these easements. The General
Assembly does not want the State
or local governments to purchase
