as leased grounds for all of the purposes of § 4-1116 of this
article. However, any dredging license issued under § 4-1116
shall be issued only to the riparian owner for the purpose of
dredging shellfish on his riparian grounds. In the waters of
Dorchester County, shellfish may be dredged on riparian grounds
by the riparian owner by any means in any creek, cove, or inlet.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning
Worcester County - Environmental Health - Acquiring
Existing Systems
FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Commissioners of
Worcester County and the Sanitary Commission of Worcester
County to enter into long-term commitments relating to the
provision of water and sewer service, zoning, and land use
development in connection with the acquisition of a
privately owned water and sewer system in Worcester County;
providing certain powers for the County Commissioners of
Worcester County and the Sanitary Commissioner of Worcester
County under this Act; generally relating to the acquisition
of privately owned water and sewer systems by the Sanitary
Commission of Worcester County; and making this Act an
emergency measure.
