CHAPTER 80
(House Bill 290)

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County - Alcoholic Beverages License -
Clubs and Corporations

FOR the purpose of authorizing a corporation or club that holds a
Class C alcoholic beverages license in Queen Anne's County
to be issued a corrected license during a license year if an
officer or officers named no longer hold office; requiring
an affidavit giving the substitutions and an explanation of
the change; requiring the Board of License Commissioners
upon receipt of the affidavit to amend its records and issue
a new license in corrected form.

Section 68(p)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1981 Replacement Volume and 1986 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

68.

(P) (1) IN QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY, NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER
PROVISION OF THIS ARTICLE TO THE CONTRARY, A CORPORATION OR CLUB
HOLDING A CLASS C ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSE MAY, DURING THE
LICENSE YEAR, SUBSTITUTE ANY OR ALL NAMES OF ITS OFFICERS ON THE
LICENSE IF THE DELETED OFFICER:

(I)  IS DEAD;

(II)  IS RETIRED;

(III)  HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM OFFICE; OR

(IV)  NO LONGER HOLDS AN OFFICE IN THE
CORPORATION OR CLUB.

(2) THE CORPORATION OR CLUB SHALL FILE AN AFFIDAVIT
WITH THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS THAT GIVES:

(I) THE SUBSTITUTION OF THE OFFICER OR
OFFICERS; AND
