(b) The working hours and holidays of the State Tobacco
Warehouse shall be those customarily observed by other State
departments, unless changed by the Secretary.]

The Maryland Tobacco Growers' Association may occupy space
in the warehouse for its salesrooms and headquarters, upon the
terms and conditions agreed to by the Secretary.]
[7-304.
(a) The Secretary may designate any employee to act in the
place of the Inspector, if the Inspector is absent due to
sickness or any other unavoidable cause. The designee shall
qualify under oath for the faithful discharge of his duties.
(b) The Secretary may employ persons on a part-time basis
and fix their compensation and conditions of employment.]
[7-305.
(a) Upon entering performance of. his duties, the Inspector
shall be covered by a surety bond approved by the Maryland State
employees surety bond committee.
(b) The Inspector shall take charge of the warehouse, the
leaf tobacco, books, furniture, appurtenances, and effects
belonging to the warehouse. He shall give a receipt for them to
his predecessor. He shall deliver them to his successor, upon the
latter's appointment and qualification, and take a similar
receipt.
(c) Each employee of the warehouse shall be covered by a
surety bond approved by the Maryland State employees surety bond
committee.]

Any money received by the warehouse constitutes a fund to
help defray partially the expenses incurred in administering this
subtitle. Any unexpended funds shall revert to the general funds
of the State at the end of the fiscal year.]
