By amending

CHAPTER 8, BUILDING

SECTION 8-20(a) OF THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY CODE

Chapter 31B, Noise Control

Sections 31B-1 through 31B-8, 31B-10 through 31B-12, 31B-14,

and 31B-15 OF THE Montgomery County Code (1977

Replacement Volume, as amended).

By repealing

Chapter 31B, Noise Control
Section 31B-9

OF THE Montgomery County Code (1977 Replacement Volume, as
amended)

Effective Date April 28, 1986.

AN ACT

(1)   to define public spa and spa guard;

(2)   to clarify that the definition of swimming pool does
not include a unit used in conjunction with the
private practice of a physician or physical therapist;

(3)   to require a spa guard when a public spa is open for
use;

(4)   to make stylistic changes; and

(5)   to generally amend the provisions on swimming pools.
