AN ACT concerning

Charles County - Freedom of Information Act

FOR the purpose of repealing the Charles County Freedom of
Information Act and certain other provisions, so that the
general provisions of State law shall apply.

BY repealing

Article 24 - Political Subdivisions - Miscellaneous

Provisions
Section 4-101 and the subtitle "Subtitle 1. Charles County"

and 5-101 and the title "Title 5. Charles County

Freedom of Information Act"

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 24 - Political Subdivisions - Miscellaneous Provisions

[Subtitle 1. Charles County]

[4-101.

In Charles County:

(1)  The provisions of §§ 10-601 and 10-611 through
10-628 of the State Government Article apply to officials and
units of the State government; and

(2)  Title 5 of this article applies otherwise.]

[5-101.

(a) This title shall be cited as "The Charles County
Freedom of Information Act".
