WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor

XI-A shall be elected by the voters of certain districts in
the county, or by the voters of the entire county, or by a
combination of these methods of election; providing for a
certain provision of limited duration; removing certain
redundant provisions; making stylistic changes; repealing a
certain obsolete provision; and submitting this amendment to
the qualified voters of the State of Maryland for their
adoption or rejection.

And it is hereby certified that at said election, 469,567
votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter 707 and 179,094
votes were cast against the adoption of said Chapter 707, the
said Chapter 707 of the Acts of 1986 has therefore been ratified.

GIVEN Under My Hand and the Seal of the State Administrative
Board of Election Laws of the State of Maryland, Done at the City
of Annapolis, this 8th day of December, In the Year of Our Lord,
One Thousand, Nine Hundred and Eight-six.

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article 33 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State Administrative Board of
Election Laws does hereby certify that at the General Election
held in the State of Maryland on November 4, 1986, an Act known
as Chapter 722 of the Acts of 1986 was submitted to the voters of
the State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV of the
Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act being as follows:

AN ACT concerning

Clerks of Courts

FOR the purpose of providing that the clerks of courts shall be
funded through the State budget and all fees, commissions or
other revenues established by law for these offices shall be
State revenues; and submitting this amendment to the
qualified voters of the State of Maryland for their adoption
or rejection.
