DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects outdated cross-references in
§ 27-101(c), (e), and (h) § 27-101(c) and (e) of the
Transportation Article.
The titled cross-references in § 27-101(c)(2) and (19)
and (e) have been retitled to reflect changes made in-
ch. 472 806 of the Acts of 1986. Subsection (b) of §
16-303 of the Transportation Article became subsection
(h) of that section in Ch. 472 of the Acts of 1986.
Subsection (a) of § 16-303 of the Transportation
Article became subsections (a) through (g) of that
section in Ch. 472 of the Acts of 1986.
The outdated cross-references were noted by the Chief
Clerk of the District Court of Maryland.
Chapter 13 of the Acts of 1986
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That of the initial
terms of the members of the Council, other than representatives
of State government, [6] 8 shall be for 4 years, 5 shall be for 3
years, 5 shall be for 2 years, and 1 shall be for 1 year.
DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects a provision in Section 2. of
Ch. 13 of the Acts of 1986.
Ch. 13 of the Acts of 1986 created a 27-member
Governor's Volunteer Council. Of the 27 members, 19
were to be nongovernmental members. However, Section
2. of Ch. 13, which provided for the terms of the
nongovernmental members, provided for the terms of
only 17 of those members.
