AN ACT concerning

Associations and Organizations - Immunity

FOR the purpose of prohibiting imposition of personal liability
for damages on certain agents of certain associations and
organizations under certain circumstances; providing
conditions under which personal liability for damages may
and may not be imposed on agents of certain associations and
organizations in certain cases; providing for the
applicability of this Act; defining certain terms; and
generally relating to certain associations and
organizations.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

5-312.

(a)(1) In this section the following words have the
meanings indicated.

(2) "ASSOCIATION OR ORGANIZATION" MEANS:                       

(I)  AN ATHLETIC CLUB;

(II)  A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION;

(III)  A COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION; AND
