WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

June 2, 1987
The Honorable Thomas V. Mike Miller
President of the Senate
State House
Annapolis, Maryland 21404

Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland
Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 504.

This bill provides eligibility for certain health and
pension benefits for members of the Prince George's County board
of license commissioners and prohibits the County Executive and
County Council from adopting any policy that is contrary to any
benefit eligibility provisions provided by this Act.

House Bill 1126, which was passed by the General Assembly
and signed by me on April 29, 1987, accomplishes the same
purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 504.

Sincerely,

William Donald Schaefer

Governor

Senate Bill No. 504

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Board of License Commissioners -

Benefits
PG 316-87

FOR the purpose of providing eligibility for certain health and
pension benefits for members of the Prince George's County
board of license commissioners; prohibiting the County
Executive and County Council from adopting any policy that
is contrary to any benefit eligibility provisions provided
by this Act; and relating generally to health and pension
benefits for the board of license commissioners of Prince
George's County.
