be it further
RESOLVED, That the Governor appoint a chairperson and vice
chairperson from the members of the coordinating council; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That the coordinating council submit a preliminary
report to the Governor and the General Assembly by January 1,
1988, and a final report by January 1, 1989; and be it further
RESOLVED, That staff for the coordinating council be
provided jointly by the Department of Education and the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be forwarded by the
Department of Legislative Reference to the Honorable William
Donald Schaefer, Governor of Maryland; the Honorable Thomas V.
Mike Miller, Jr., President of the Senate of Maryland; and the
Honorable R. Clayton Mitchell, Speaker of the House of Delegates
of Maryland; David W. Hornbeck, State Superintendent of Schools,
200 West Baltimore Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201; and Adele
