hours for the biweekly work period shall be compensated at one
and one-half times the hourly rate established by dividing the
biweekly compensation by 80.
(5) IF AUTHORIZED BY THE BOARD OF REGENTS OR ITS
DESIGNEE, THE CAMPUSES OF THE UNIVERSITY MAY ENTER INTO
AGREEMENTS OR UNDERSTANDINGS WITH EMPLOYEES WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR
OVERTIME COMPENSATION UNDER FEDERAL LAW THAT THE EMPLOYEES WILL
RECEIVE VOLUNTARILY COMPENSATORY TIME OFF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
FEDERAL FAIR LABOR STANDARDS AMENDMENTS OF 1985, PUB. L. NO.
99-150, 99 STAT. 787, AS THAT ACT IS CODIFIED AT 29 U. S. C.
SECTION 201 ET SEQ. THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 100, SECTION 76(A)
OF THE CODE, FOR COMPENSATION OF STATE EMPLOYEES FOR WORK IN
EXCESS OF THE NORMAL WORKWEEK, DO NOT APPLY TO THESE EMPLOYEES.
(6) THE UNIVERSITY'S POLICY REGARDING COMPENSATORY
TIME OFF AWARDED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF PARAGRAPH (5) OF THIS
SUBSECTION SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH REGULATIONS REGARDING
COMPENSATORY TIME OFF ADOPTED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PERSONNEL,
WHERE APPROPRIATE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning
Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund -
Claims Not Covered by Insurance
FOR the purpose of eliminating certain obsolete provisions and
procedures relating to the Maryland Automobile Insurance
Fund; providing for the exclusion from coverage of certain
claimants; modifying procedures for claims and actions
against the Fund and making certain procedures a precedent
for recovery; providing for certain Fund authority without
court approval; providing for the payment of interest;
providing for rights to certain parties under certain
conditions; providing certain time limits; providing for the
filing of a notice of claim and requiring certain
information to be submitted in a filing; removing certain
pro rata distributions; modifying the definition of
"qualified person"; providing for the continued license
suspension of certain judgment debtors unless certain
