Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

6-202.

In addition to the venue provided in § 6-201 or § 6-203, the
following actions may be brought in the indicated county:

(7) [Ejectment] ACTION FOR POSSESSION OF REAL
PROPERTY - Where a portion of the land upon which the action is
based is located;

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Registration Exemption

FOR the purpose of allowing nonresident members of the Armed
Forces to operate their vehicles in the State of Maryland
while displaying their home-state license plates if assigned
to active duty in an adjoining state or the District of
Columbia.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 13-402.1(c)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Transportation

13-402.1.

(c) If a nonresident is a member of the armed forces of the
United States or of the United States Public Health Service and
is serving on active duty in this State OR AN ADJOINING STATE OR
THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, the nonresident need not register his
