rest. The foregoing sentence shall appear, in any application form
for employment.

Nothing contained herein shall be construed to permit any
fine or penalty against any supervisory employee or agent who has
been caused, directed or authorized by his employer to violate
any provision of § 534J, in which case the employer shall be
subject to the sanctions prescribed by this section.]

[534K.

Nothing contained in §§ 492, 521 and 522 of this article,
amended from time to time, shall be applicable within Harford
County.]

[534L.

(a)  The provisions of this section apply to Baltimore
County and Baltimore City.

(b)  (1) It is unlawful on Sunday for any wholesale or
retail establishment to conduct business for labor or profit in
the usual manner and location or to operate its establishment   in
any manner for the general public.

(2) A wholesale or retail establishment may not
cause, direct, or authorize any employee or agent to engage in or
conduct business on its behalf on Sunday.

(c)  (1) The State's Attorney of Baltimore County may
petition the Circuit Court to enjoin any violation of this
section.

(2) The State's Attorney of Baltimore City may
petition the Circuit Court for Baltimore City to enjoin any
violation of this section.

(d)  (1) Any person, firm, or corporation violating the
provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon
conviction, is subject to the penalties provided by this
subsection.

(2)  The first conviction is punishable by a fine not
to exceed an amount equivalent to $500 multiplied by the number
of employees that are working in excess of the number permitted
under the provisions of § 534L-1 of this article.

(3)  The second conviction is punishable by a fine not
to exceed an amount equivalent to $1,000 multiplied by the number
of employees that are working in excess of the number permitted
under the provisions of § 534L-1 of this article.
