LAWS OF MARYLAND

Executive shall be considered the "employer" of the deputy
sheriffs for the purpose of collective bargaining only.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Election Judges - Compensation
PG 401-87

FOR the purpose of requiring a judge of elections to perform the
required services of that office on election day before
receiving compensation for those services; prohibiting
payment of certain compensation if a an election judge
refuses to serve on any election day, unless excused by the
board; and requiring election judges in Prince George's
County to successfully complete the course of instruction
before receiving compensation.
