AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County - Board of Electrical Examiners

FOR the purpose of altering the number of persons required to be
appointed to the St. Mary's County Board of Electrical
Examiners; authorizing the Board of County Commissioners to
set the term of office for members of the St. Mary's County
Board of Electrical Examiners; repealing the requirement
that members of the Board of Electrical Examiners serve for
a term to run concurrently with the tenure of the Board of
County Commissioners; altering a provision relating to the
compensation of members of the St. Mary's County Board of
Electrical Examiners; providing for the expiration and
renewal of electricians' licenses; prohibiting persons from
holding themselves out as master electricians unless certain
requirements are met; repealing a provision requiring the
Board of Electrical Examiners to report budget requests to
the St. Mary's County Board of County Commissioners;
altering a provision requiring the Board of Electrical
Examiners to report certain licensing information to the
Board of County Commissioners; requiring certain persons
engaging in the business of electrical contracting to carry
a certain amount of general liability insurance and property
damage insurance; providing for the reporting of changes in
certain information on a master electrician's license to the
Board of Electrical Examiners; and generally relating to the
Board of Electrical Examiners of St. Mary's County.
