AN ACT concerning
Creation of a State Debt Prince George's County - Black Historic
Site Restoration Loan of 1985 - Ridgely Methodist Episcopal
Memorial Black Historic Site Restoration
FOR the purpose of authorizing the creation of a State Debt in
the amount of $150,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant
to the Ridgely Methodist Episcopal Memorial in Prince
George's County to assist in the restoration, improvement,
renovation and equipping of that Black historic site,
subject to the requirement that the Ridgely Methodist
Episcopal Memorial provide at least an equal and matching
fund of a certain kind for the same purpose by a certain
date; providing that no proceeds of the loan or any of the
matching funds be used for certain religious purposes
amending the provisions of the Prince George's County -
Black Historic Site Restoration Loan of 1985, as amended, to
require the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning
Commission to provide certain funds to the Ridgely Methodist
Episcopal Memorial; and providing generally for the issue
and sale of bonds evidencing the loan.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Chapter 441 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1985, as
amended by Chapter 394 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1986

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:
(1) The Board of Public Works may borrow money and incur
indebtedness on behalf of the State of Maryland through a State
loan to be known as the Ridgely Methodist Episcopal Memorial Loan
of 1987 in the total principal amount of $150,000. This loan
shall be evidenced by the issuance, sale, and delivery of State
general obligation bonds authorized by a resolution of the Board
of Public Works and issued, sold, and delivered in accordance
