WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor                    Ch. 329

(i) When a semitrailer (single) is being operated in
combination with a truck tractor, the combination of vehicles
shall not be subject to an overall length limit, however, the
semitrailer may not exceed 48 feet in length.

(J) A PERSON MAY OPERATE A SEMITRAILER AND A TRAILER IN
COMBINATION WITH A TRUCK TRACTOR ON MARYLAND ROUTE 2 BETWEEN U.S.
ROUTE 50 AND INTERSTATE 69 5 ONLY:

(1)  FROM 10 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.; and

(2) Until that portion of Interstate 97 between U.S.
Route 50 and Maryland Route 3 is constructed and opened to
vehicular traffic P.M. TO 6 A.M.; AMP

(2) UNTIL THAT PORTION OF INTERSTATE 97 BETWEEN U.S.
ROUTE 50 AND MARYLAND ROUTE 3 IS CONSTRUCTED AND OPENED TO
VEHICULAR TRAFFIC.-------------------------

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.
