(3) Under appropriate court order, a prize won under
this subtitle may be paid to a person other than the winner.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Child Support Enforcement - Parent Locater Service

FOR the purpose of permitting the Child Support Enforcement
Administration to request from any employer or labor union
certain records and information for locating deserting or
absent parents; requiring an employer or labor union to
provide certain information or records upon the request of
the Child Support Enforcement Administration; allowing a
circuit court to issue a certain order; providing that an
employer or labor union shall be in contempt of court under
certain circumstances; and generally relating to child
support enforcement.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(a) (1) The Child Support Enforcement Administration of the
Department of Human Resources shall maintain a central registry
of records of all identifying information that relates to parents
who have deserted or who appear to have deserted their children.

(2) The Child Support Enforcement Administration
shall list these parents in the registry whether or not their
